A "must do" while visiting Holiday Valley. Riders are able to control their speed with brakes on the car. The driver must be at least 8 years old and 54” tall, and be able to demonstrate they understand the staff’s instructions to be a driver. Children must be at least 3 years old and over 38” (without shoes) to accompany a driver who is at least 16 year old.
If two riders are on one car, each rider must have purchased a ticket and the combined weight cannot exceed 350lbs. Riders must be able to perform certain physical tasks to participate.

- May 27 (Memorial Day): Monday: 11AM-6PM
- June 14 - September 2: Daily: 11AM-6PM
- September 6 - October 13: Friday, Saturday, Sunday: 11AM-6PM
- October 19 - October 27: Saturday, Sunday: 11AM-Dusk
Mountain Coaster Stats
Uphill track 1865 feet long, Vertical rise is 283 feet
Downhill track consists of 15 curves of varying length, 12 waves, 1 jump, plus a huge circle / spiral
The down hill has a maximum track grade of 23.6% and is 2,940 feet in length
The overall ride is 4,805 feet long and takes about 6 minutes
Winter Mountain Coaster
The Coaster operates during the winter season from 11AM to 6PM Friday through Sunday, plus holidays.
Tickets may be purchased at any ticket window or at lodging properties. Purchase your mountain coaster ticket with your lift ticket and save!
The Coaster will operate from just before Christmas through March 16, weather permitting.
Additional days of operation: December 23-December 27, 2024, January 13 and February 17, 2025
Groups of 15 or more who are not purchasing lift tickets may ride the coaster for $6 each. Advance reservations required.
